That is not the films fault, but the digital camera being used for the transfer. Film transfers should be flat at worst, or from what the camera normally does.<br /><br />The cruel irony is the reason that many digital video cameras have the built in contrast curve that they do have is to EMULATE FILM, so the last thing one would want is to use a film curve for film.
